Is your dog on pain medication?
On Pain Medication?
There is so much more you can do to help!
Pain relief masks the problem, but you can also help manage it.
Not On Pain Relief
That’s great news.
There is so much you can do to help before pain medication is needed.
Joint Supplements
Is your dog on joint supplements?
On Joint Supplements
That’s great. Joint supplements help to support your dog’s joints. This extra support helps to maintain joint health and can help with pain levels.
Not On Joint Supplements
Joint supplements will help support your dog’s joint health which can help reduce their discomfort levels. Any dog that is considered senior should be started on joint supplements before they start showing signs of stiffness. They are equally useful if they are already diagnosed with a condition or are already stiff.
Dogs that have a congenital condition (such as hip or elbow dysplacia), or who need surgery (for example cruciate repair, fracture repair or luxating patella), and Arthritic dogs will all benefit from having joint supplements added to their routine.
Life Stage Diet
Is your dog on a life stage diet?
(Some dogs may need to be on a prescription diet for health reasons. If so, it is best to keep them on the prescribed diet unless your vet advises otherwise)
On Life Stage Diet
That’s Great!
Life stage diets are formulated so all the nutrients your dog requires at their stage in life are met.
Not On Life Stage Diet
Life stage diets ensure that the correct nutrients are given to match your dog’s stage in life. For example, senior diets will have extra joint support in where as a puppy diet will focus more on their growth nutrition.
Examples of life stage diets include:
• Puppy (small, medium, large and giant breed) puppy food will supply the correct nutrients to help them grow
• Adult (small, medium, large and giant breeds)
• Neutered adult (small, medium, large and giant breeds) neutered animals need less calories as they are not making the reproductive hormones.
• Senior (small, medium, large and giant). Senior diets will have nutrients to help with their joints.
(Working dogs may need a working dog diet due to the extra calorie expenditure when working)

Having Treatment
Massage boosts the circulatory system to relieve pain.
It delivers oxygen to the muscles and helps the lymphatic system to rain away the painful inflammatory toxins.
This reduction promotes correct use of muscles, possibly reducing the need for medication.
It can help speed up the recover process and manage chronic conditions, such as arthritis and hip and elbow dysplacia.
Not Having Treatment
That’s great news!
Did you know that massage can be used to help maintain muscle health and prevent injury? It can also help detect issues before they become a problem.
